Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-29

These terms apply to the Nihonzo app (the “App”) provided by Nihonzo. By using the App you agree to them.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the App and its lesson content for your own study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or extract the content, or attempt to bypass access controls.

2. Free trial and paid access

3. Refunds

App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies. If a purchase is refunded, the access it gave is removed.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, reverse-engineer or interfere with the App or our servers or create fake purchases.

5. Content and availability

We work hard to keep lessons accurate but cannot guarantee they are free of errors, or that using the App will lead to a particular exam result. We may update, add or remove content and features. Embedded videos are provided by YouTube and may become unavailable.

AI features

AI features use a third-party provider (OpenAI, Google Gemini or DeepSeek) with your own API key. You are responsible for your account with that provider, its terms and any charges it bills you. AI-generated explanations, translations and answers can be wrong — use them as a study aid and double-check anything important.

News, websites and videos

Articles, websites and YouTube videos you open in the App belong to their owners and remain subject to their terms. The App helps you read and study them for your personal learning; it does not host or redistribute them.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions: nihonzoofficial@gmail.com or Messenger. See also our Privacy Policy.
